Zendure Environmental & Product Sustainability Statement

1. Purpose and approach

Zendure believes reliable energy storage and intelligent energy management can support more effective use of distributed renewable energy in households. We treat environmental responsibility as part of product quality and long-term trust. We aim to reduce potential environmental impacts across the product lifecycle, including design, manufacturing, transportation, use, and end-of-life.
This statement describes Zendure’s principles and baseline practices for environmental management, product sustainability, supply chain, packaging, and end-of-life handling.

2. Environmental management and compliance

Zendure works to strengthen environmental management based on applicable laws, regulations, and market access requirements, including by:
  • integrating environmental and compliance requirements into product planning, design reviews, supplier management, and quality processes;
  • identifying and managing environmental impacts, risks, and improvement opportunities related to climate, resource use, chemicals, waste, and water;
  • requiring relevant compliance from value-chain partners within their responsibilities where appropriate;
  • supporting implementation through training, audits, and continuous improvement.

3. Climate and energy (use-phase focus)

Zendure focuses on how products perform during the use phase and aims to support efficient use of energy by:
  • enabling storage and dispatch of distributed renewable energy through product and system design;
  • improving system operating efficiency while maintaining safety and performance (e.g., reducing unnecessary losses);
  • supporting compliant intelligent energy management that may help reduce peak-price grid consumption and increase self-consumption where applicable. Outcomes depend on local tariffs, household behavior, solar conditions, and system configuration.
Zendure also seeks to improve energy management in its own operations and to increase the use of renewable or lower-carbon electricity where feasible and available, subject to local conditions.

4. Circularity, packaging, and end-of-life

Subject to performance, safety, and reliability requirements, Zendure aims to improve material efficiency and circularity by:
  • prioritizing recyclable and compliant materials where feasible and reducing unnecessary material complexity;
  • improving durability and supporting reasonable maintenance and repair where feasible;
  • reducing packaging and logistics impacts by optimizing packaging structure, avoiding unnecessary void space, improving recyclability, and reducing single-use materials where feasible;
  • complying with applicable safety and regulatory requirements for battery-containing products, including transport rules.
End-of-life and take-back: Options vary by country/region, product category, and local compliance schemes/authorized partners. Where legally and practically available, Zendure supports proper collection and treatment through compliant partners.

5. Restricted substances and pollution prevention

Zendure manages restricted substances and pollution-related risks according to applicable legal and customer requirements by:
  • implementing relevant material compliance obligations (e.g., where applicable, RoHS/REACH) through supplier onboarding and material management;
  • encouraging suppliers to identify, substitute, and control restricted substances and to provide declarations or test evidence where required;
  • managing waste, emissions, and chemical leakage risks in manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics through preventive controls and compliant disposal.

6. Evidence, transparency, and legal nature of this statement

  • Substantiation: Where Zendure makes specific environmental claims in external communications, we will maintain appropriate supporting evidence and define the claim scope, conditions, and limitations.
  • No general “green” claims: Zendure avoids broad or absolute environmental statements that are not substantiated or may mislead.
  • Non-binding: This statement describes objectives and management approaches. It does not constitute a product guarantee, warranty, or legally binding commitment unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

7. Updates and language precedence

Zendure may update this statement as regulations evolve and management systems mature. Language precedence: In case of discrepancies, the English version shall prevail for interpretation purposes.
