FAQs

What kind of batteries does SuperBase Pro use?

SuperBase Pro 2000 uses NMC (LiNiMnCoO2) batteries with a total charge capacity of 2,096Wh, while SuperBase Pro 1500 uses LFP (LiFePO4) batteries and has a charge capacity of 1,456Wh.

What's the difference between SuperBase Pro 1500 and SuperBase Pro 2000?

SuperBase Pro 1500 has a different battery type and capacity from SuperBase Pro 2000. Because of this, the two products have different charging and discharging times.

What is the operating temperature of SuperBase Pro?

Discharge: -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to 140F) / Charge: 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F)

Does SuperBase Pro have a built-in MPPT controller?

Yes, it does.

What's the noise level?

SuperBase Pro maxes out to about 52dB at 1 meter, but we are still testing this.

Are the wheels replaceable?

SuperBase Pro's industrial-grade wheels are built into the product and are not replaceable.

Are there built-in fans?

Yes, there are 4 smart fans, which only run when necessary to keep the operating temperature at an appropriate level. Using the app, you can tell SuperBase Pro to prioritize either high performance or low noise.

Can SuperBase Pro be charged by other solar panels?

Yes, SuperBase Pro can be charged by other solar panels with voltage ranging from 12V to 60V up to 600W via the XT60 port, and 60V-160V up to 1800W via the AC input. Zendure's 200W solar panel has been thoroughly tested with SuperBase Pro and remains our recommendation.

Should I charge my SuperBase Pro to 100% right away?

The BMS (Battery Management System) needs to familiarize itself with the internal cells, so you might find that your SuperBase Pro will not charge to 100% on the first charge cycle. If you discharge the battery below 60% and try to fully recharge the battery twice, this should complete the process and give you access to the battery's full capacity. After this, normal usage will not be affected.

The SuperBase Pro can handle all my power needs. From powering my campsite to powering my Neo Geo. I use the SuperBase Pro to supply power to my campsite, so I can run an air-fryer, lights, projector, and a small gaming setup. Gaming in the outdoors is the best!

The wheels and handle on the SuperBase make moving the SuperBase Pro easy.

I am pleased by my SuperBase Pro. I would get another one if I needed more power!!!

I bought this - great - device with the crowfundig Zendure organized last year, and i intended to use it for a special purpose : to power a whole small outdoor concert stage, at least for the sound and backline and having it charged with solar panel on the same site.
I received it at the beginning of august and could experience it straight on a festival i was managing as tech manager and sound engineer.
That worked very well !
Here is a report i posted at the end of it :
(a great thanks to everybody at Zendure, that made this beauty and carefully sent me besides the actual shits of the world)

"At the Rosa Bonheur festival, the proof of concept of powering a concert stage with three solar panels.

Thanks to the very high efficiency of class D amplification, a PA system supposed to restore a maximum of 7200 W (2 sub + 2 heads + 4 monitors) actually consumes only 300 to 400 W (measured) to provide a level of 90 dB medium to an outdoor audience of 300 people, which is what you would expect for a concert of jazz, soft rock, world/folk classical (amplified), the kind of this festival.
Classe D i love you !
Tested on loud music to push the system before clipping and getting 100+ dB, I measured 400 to 650 W max.
I was also powering the console and the stage boxes, router, computers, backline.

I ordered a solar battery power plant with a capacity of 2 KWh that I recharge with three solar panels of 400 Wc each, approximately in three hours in the sun.
Charging power observed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in August : in the sun from 900 to 1200 W, behind the clouds from 200 to 500 W.

After the afternoon sound-checks and the early evening concert (on average an hour and a half), the battery only discharges about half.
It is an easily transportable 25 kg object, equipped with rear wheels and a telescopic handle.

In addition to the agility, it is the proof of concept that we can really carry out amplified events on a solar kit that is simple to set up, little bulky and affordable."

I have finally been able to use the device after waiting for quite awhile to get it, and go camping with it. The SBP 2000 appears to be sturdy in design, and has operated flawlessly so far. It charges in about 2:45 plugged in to AC presuming it is kept in cooler temps. the charging rate slows dramatically if it is warm. The app is very functional as well. It operated a standard modern refrigerator for approx 9hr. I did plug my RV into it, and it will operate virtually everything except the air conditioner, which was expected. The front panel is very informational as well, gives you accurate wattage input and output. Nice to be able to watch the actual input via solar in real time.
