Celebrate Earth Day with Zendure
Earth Day was founded by Gaylord Nelson, a US Senator and former Wisconsin Governor, in 1970. As an advocate for the environment, Nelson wanted to create an annual event that would take place each spring to bring awareness to environmental issues. The Governor of California announced an executive order to phase out sales of new gas-fueled cars by 2035. And as early as 2028, the state hopes to eliminate sales of gas-powered generators under 25 horsepower (18kW). Other Ways to Help
There are many ways you can start helping the planet today. Reuse plastic containers or switch to reusable snack bags. Recycle anything you can’t reuse. Eat more vegetables, as livestock accounts for a surprising amount of methane and other pollution, plus habitat destruction. Plants contribute a large share of the oxygen we need to survive.
