If you happen to be addicted to your iPhone, you may find that the battery can only last for a few hours although Apple claims to have a great battery performance. It runs out even faster when you use it regularly to play games, watch videos, and chat with friends or browse tweets.

Since charging your iPhone is a time-consuming process, many of us tend to charge it overnight. However, what if you forget to charge it at night and you are about to head out the door leaving only 10 minutes for you to charge? That calls for a quicker charging method. We have prepared 5 tricks to help your iPhone battery charge faster.

1. Activate Airplane Mode

You may already know that your iPhone has a feature called Airplane Mode. This mode is meant for when you’re flying and can’t send signals safely while the plane is in the air. Airplane Mode turns all incoming and outgoing signals off while leaving the phone on.

Try turning on Airplane Mode the next time you charge your phone. You won’t get any text messages or phone calls while it’s on, but you will be able to charge your phone a few minutes faster. If you think airplane mode is too much, similar effect can achieved by disabling Wi-Fi, cellular data, and Bluetooth, lowering the screen brightness or disabling navigation service. In a word, turn off all unnecessary apps.

2. Turn off your phone

If setting Airplane Mode is a little help for your battery, turning it off will bring upgraded effect.

Turning your phone off while it charges can terminate the power supply of operating the screen and motion sensors and running applications. That way, your phone isn't using any energy and all of the charge is going straight to your battery.

3. Pick the right charger

According to Apple, it's safe to use iPad USB power adapters to charge an iPhone (just steer clear of counterfeits). iPhones come with a 5-volt charger, which uses 1 amp for 5 watts of power. iPads, on the other hand, have chargers with 5.1 volts, 2.1 amps and 12 watts of power.

It means that, quoting the words of an Apple expert, the figure that's relevant from a charging-speed point of view is wattage. And it defines the speed of energy transfer. So generally speaking, the higher the wattage, the faster the charger can fill up your device's battery. To meet such requirement, Zendure charger would be an ideal choice.

The power bank’s 45W USB-C power delivery output provides high-speed charging for USB Type-C devices. It also obtains a unique feature that differentiates itself from others--to charge Zendure power banks while charging your devices at full speed with a single wall charger. And its multi-faceted safety protection protects your phone again short circuit, power surge, overheating and overcharging.

4. Remove your case

According to Apple exclamation, charging the device when it's inside certain styles of cases may generate excess heat, which can affect battery capacity. Apple further explains that, "If you notice that your device gets hot when you charge it, take it out of its case first." Before you plug your phone in to start charging, it’s advisable choice to remove the case. Because iPhones are able to charge more efficiently when they're kept in the right temperature.

5. Keep it cool

Just as we just mentioned, the phone can be too hot to charge. So it’s imperative to avoid exposing your iPhone to temperatures higher than 95° F. When your phone is exposed to this kind of heat it can cause permanent damage to battery capacity, and your battery won't power as long on a given charge, Apple warns.

Similarly, if your battery is in a cold environment, you may notice the charge speed starts to slow down. However, this is only temporary and your phone will return to its normal range once it starts warming up. And please note that temperature ranging from 62° to 72° F is the ideal zone for iPhone charging.
