Zendure SuperTank Portable Charger gets "Most Wanted" Status from Android Police
Zendure's recently-announced SuperTank Portable Charger is already receiving high praise from all corners of the internet. Android Police is no exception: Ryne Hager's extensive review of SuperTank is chock-full of adulation, earning the new external battery the coveted "Most Wanted" commendation.
"This is the best battery we've ever reviewed at Android Police—and if I'm being honest, that's a little bit exciting."
Zendure's 27,000mAh (99.9Wh) SuperTank Portable Charger was exulted for its ability deliver 100W through USB-C PD (Power Delivery) with 138W total output, as well as its "exceptional performance" and "very reasonable price".
The reviewer tested SuperTank with its companion power supply, SuperPort 4 (sold separately). The 100W power adapter "performed well" in his test, offering the full 100W as rated.SuperTank features a unique "X-Charge" mode, allowing for compatibility with low-power devices like fitness bands and wireless headphones. Many such devices cannot be charged by typical external batteries because they do not draw enough current to keep the power bank active.
SuperTank is capable of pass-through charging, and goes a step further: it can switch between battery and pass-through mode seamlessly, functioning as a UPS (uninterruptible power supply).
Overall, the Android Police editor called SuperTank "the best 27,000mAh battery we've ever tested, the best performing battery regardless of capacity, and the obvious first choice for high-wattage applications." In the hypothetical question as to whether people should buy SuperTank, the simple verdict was "yes, absolutely."
Hot on the heels of a successful Kickstarter campaign bringing in more than half a million dollars, SuperTank is now available for pre-order on Zendure's website for the limited-time price of $99 USD. SuperPort 4 is also available for pre-order, and US customers who purchase both together will receive a limited-time discount at checkout.
