Earth Day was founded by Gaylord Nelson, a US Senator and former Wisconsin Governor, in 1970. As an advocate for the environment, Nelson wanted to create an annual event that would take place each spring to bring awareness to environmental issues. This year, we wanted to share with you what we’re doing to help the environment and how you can take part.

Sustainable Energy

The Governor of California announced an executive order to phase out sales of new gas-fueled cars by 2035. And as early as 2028, the state hopes to eliminate sales of gas-powered generators under 25 horsepower (18kW). Gas generators require fossil fuels in order to run, and continuing to burn and extract fossil fuels is unsustainable. For the long-term benefit of the planet and society, we need to focus on renewable energy sources like solar and wind power. Solar power is basically a free energy source that is much better for the environment than consuming fossil fuels.

Over the past year, Zendure has begun selling solar panels and rechargeable power stations. Wind and solar energy together could supply 80% of the United States’ energy needs while reducing the amount of carbon that is released into the atmosphere. If you’re considering making the switch to sustainable energy, consider a solar power bundle from Zendure, which includes a SuperBase Pro power station, one or more solar panels, and hook-up cables to make the transition simple and convenient.

Planting Trees

Our SuperBase Pro power station’s companion app keeps track of your green energy use and carbon reduction. ZenForest is a virtual space within the app that flourishes as you collect more points. And as your ZenForest grows, real trees are planted around the world in your name. Working with OneTreePlanted.org, we hope to plant 10 million trees by 2025 to remove 100 million kilograms of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Help Stop the Causes of Climate Change

Earth has warmed by about one degree over the past 100 years. Scientists think climate change is exacerbated by global warming. Sunlight energizes the planet. Over time, through various processes, a large portion of this energy is converted to heat. Heat is then radiated from Earth into space as infrared light. This is how Earth stays cool. Greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide (CO2), methane, and water vapor, absorb some of this infrared light, trapping it in the atmosphere. Because this impacts Earth’s cooling process, the “balance point” between heating and cooling increases. This is global warming. Warmer air and oceans in the tropics can contribute to more frequent and more powerful hurricanes. And on the poles, additional planetary heat can change the ratio of ice to liquid water, causing habitat disruption and rising sea levels globally. The sea level doesn’t have to rise very high to make a big impact, especially in highly populated coastal regions and vulnerable islands. Deforestation and the burning of fossil fuels are two primary contributors to greenhouse gas emissions. This is why a rechargeable power station like SuperBase Pro, which produces zero emissions, can greatly improve the planet’s outlook.

“Sustainable” Doesn’t Mean “Weak”

SuperBase Pro can be charged up to 80% in just one hour with a 1,800W power source. That could be grid power, solar power, or just about anything else. Our power station has a nominal output power of 2,000W and can power devices that require up to 3,000W thanks to its patented AmpUp technology. What’s more, SuperBase Pro can deliver up to 4,000W briefly, for that extra “oomph” at startup.

Share the Power, Care for the Planet

SuperBase Pro’s 2,096Wh battery has enough energy capacity to supply smart devices with power for days or run an air fryer for about 2 hours. And with 14 output ports, you can keep the whole family charged and fed.

Remotely Monitor your Green Energy

Our power station has built-in Wi-fi and 4G communication hardware, plus a GPS chip, so you can keep track of your SuperBase Pro just about anywhere. Control the charging and output settings, check its location, and more with an IoT power station that always keeps you in the loop.

36 Payments to a Solar Future

Together with solar panels, SuperBase Pro can help you become energy independent while also helping the environment. And collecting free solar energy is easier than ever before, with zero-interest financing for 36 months to those who qualify, with monthly payments as low as $83.

Other Ways to Help

There are many ways you can start helping the planet today. Reuse plastic containers or switch to reusable snack bags. Recycle anything you can’t reuse. Eat more vegetables, as livestock accounts for a surprising amount of methane and other pollution, plus habitat destruction. Plants contribute a large share of the oxygen we need to survive. Letting native plants flourish in spaces that would otherwise be used for industry can help keep atmospheric CO2 at a healthy level. Use eco-friendly means of transportation, such as biking or public transit. Every little bit helps.

Happy Earth Day! Let’s make it a great one!
